Intensive Outpatient Program
PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM
Our PHP provides the opportunity to develop, strengthen, and practice recovery, personal and wellness skills through a multi-faceted therapeutic approach. Services that are provided in PHP include; group and individual therapy, trauma-informed care, relapse prevention, life skills, 12 step immersion, meditation and Acudetox.
PHP consists of 18 to 25 hours a week of clinical and non-clinical services with diverse scheduling options. Upon completion of the PHP program, participants step down into IOP and attend 3-hour groups 3 days a week to facilitate a slow transition toward completion.
INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is an extension of or alternative to long-term, residential treatment. Our team of clinicians and counselors have years of experience in both settings. Our IOP and PHP programs use various clinical modalities that are designed to give each participant an individualized treatment plan.
River Rock Treatment Intensive Outpatient Program in Burlington, Vermont is a safe place for healing and transformation. Our licensed professional therapists utilize an integrative approach that focuses on the whole person. We understand that healing occurs in community and through a variety of modalities, thus we are trained in trauma-informed care, family of origin and internal family systems work, 12 Steps, spiritual care, mental health wellness, and other evidence-based practices.
We offer several IOP groups to provide treatment to accommodate our participants with busy daily schedules. An individualized treatment plan along with a continuing care plan is created between the therapist and participant to help establish a foundation for long term recovery support. We currently offer Morning (9am to noon – M,W,TH,FRI) and Evening (5:30 to 8:30pm – M,T,W,TH) IOP groups.
OUTPATIENT PROGRAM
River Rock Treatment’s Outpatient Program (OP) is designed to provide a warm, welcoming and encouraging place for participants to continue their recovery journey. Building on the foundation established in PHP/IOP, outpatient therapy groups are established on a broad range of multidimensional approaches.
Our experienced therapists and case managers work with each participant to meet the goals outlined in their individualized treatment plan. Participants attend two hour-long groups and one individual meeting with their case manager and/or recovery coach each week. Outpatient groups meet in the evening several nights per week to accommodate participant’s busy schedules.
